YouTube lectures β†’ study notes_

A short workflow for students and researchers: turn a two-hour lecture into structured notes, flashcards, and exportable Markdown in about ten minutes.

1. Pull the transcript

Open the transcript extractor, paste the lecture URL, and let Y/T_TRANSCRIPT fetch the caption track. You'll get timestamped segments in the video's original language.

2. Generate a study outline

Send the transcript through the AI summarizer with the "study notes" preset. You'll get headings for each major topic, bullet points for supporting details, and callouts for definitions and formulas.

3. Add flashcards and Q&A

Ask the AI to turn each section into 3–5 flashcards. This is the step that turns a passive summary into something you can actually revise from before an exam.

4. Export to Notion or Markdown

Copy the Markdown output into Notion, Obsidian, or your notes app. If you use Notion, follow the Notion integration guide to sync directly via the API.
